In the Swiss Alps we encounter the power of slowness. While walking, a rhythm arises that calms the mind and strengthens the body. Our mountain retreats combine psychological work with mindfulness and the healing power of nature.

Here you may step out – from the speed, the demands, the constant availability – and reconnect with what has become quiet inside you.
Schedule & Content
Each day follows a clear, calm rhythm:

Mornings: mindful hiking in silence or conversation, through alpine forests and over blooming meadows.

At noon: light, natural food, fresh, vegetarian, regional.

Afternoons: psychological workshop (2 hours) with topics such as stress management, inner drivers, resilience, mental calm.

Once a week: 1 hour individual coaching or therapy to deepen personal topics.
In the evenings there is time for conversations, reading, sauna or simply quiet, accompanied by homemade, healthy cuisine in our mountain accommodations with atmosphere and panoramic views.

Retreat leadership
I am Mara Schär, certified Corporate Wellness Specialist®, Life & Business Coach based in Basel with a passion for personal development, mindfulness, and sustainable change.
My training and experience:

Studies in communication and media sciences as well as over 15 years of international experience in communication, sales, marketing, and key account management.

Certification as Corporate Wellness Specialist (Los Angeles, 2017) and ongoing studies in psychology.

Founder of Joy Corporate GmbH in Basel – focusing on holistic coaching, workshops, and retreats.
My mission:
I accompany people, especially leaders and stressed professionals – who feel that "more of the same" is no longer enough. Together we create space for mindfulness, inner balance, and sustainable resilience. I combine the latest findings from neuroscience and positive psychology with my intuition and life experience.

Empathy & professional depth: I create a trusting space where topics like stress, dysfunctional thoughts, and burnout prevention can be addressed honestly.
