Manifestieren Bedeutung: Wie du dein Wunschleben erschaffst – Schritt für Schritt

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to live your absolute dream life? Maybe a loving dream partner, a cozy dream home, fulfilling work, or simply inner peace and happiness?

Then you are not alone. More and more people are engaging with the topic of manifesting, a megatrend that now fills bookshelves, social media, and coaching seminars. But what is really behind it? And does it even work?

In this article, I want to take you on a journey. A journey to more clarity, inner strength, and the trust that you can actively shape your life. With your heart, your thoughts, your energy.

What does manifesting mean?

The word "manifest" comes from the Latin "manifestare" – to make something visible. It's about making what you think, feel, and wish for inside become reality in the outer world.

It is an inner process where your vision, your feelings, your thoughts, and your daily actions work together to create your reality.

Many associate manifestation with the well-known law of attraction – "like attracts like." So if you vibrate at a high frequency of joy, gratitude, and clarity, you attract exactly those qualities into your life.

But beware: Manifesting is not magic. It is a mix of inner work, focus, changing your beliefs, and concrete action.

Manifesting: The most important steps

Here is a simple guide for your entry into manifesting – step by step:

1. Create clarity

What do you really want? Not what "others" expect from you, not what you "should." What do you really want – in your heart? Write it down. Formulate it as if it were already there. Example: "I live in my dream house by the lake." Not: "I want to someday..."

2. Feel it now

Your feelings are the key. Imagine your wish is already fulfilled. How does that feel? Warm? Secure? Free? The more intensely you feel that sensation in your body, the stronger your manifestation power becomes.

3. Let go of lack

Many unconsciously block themselves with thoughts like "I am not worthy" or "Something like that never happens to me." Recognize your beliefs – and transform them into empowering statements: "I am open to abundance." – "I deserve love and success." Here, the help of a coach can also be effective when deeper issues arise.

4. Act with intention

Manifesting does not mean "waiting and hoping." It means: acting from trust. Get moving, write applications, open yourself to new contacts, but from a different attitude: from inner abundance, not from lack.

5. Let go & trust

Your wish is sent out into the universe; now patience is required. Don't check daily "Where is it?" Stay open. Be in receiving mode. The universe often responds differently than we expect, but never randomly.

The law of attraction – How does it work?

The law of attraction states: Your inner frequency determines what you experience externally. If you think, "I am poor," you see more lack. If you think, "I have everything I need," you attract abundance.

This principle is not only spiritual; psychology has also proven it for decades. Classic studies like the Pygmalion experiment by Robert Rosenthal and Lenore Jacobson (1968) vividly show how expectations influence our perception and behavior: Teachers who believed certain students had special potential supported them – often unconsciously – more intensively, which actually led to better performance. Similar effects are described by Merton (1948) with the term self-fulfilling prophecy: Our inner beliefs shape actions that eventually make the expected results real.

Neuropsychologically, this phenomenon can be explained by the Reticular Activating System (RAS), a part of the brainstem that acts like a filter for stimuli. The RAS decides which information from the flood of impressions consciously reaches you. This means: What you consider important or think about frequently, your brain recognizes as relevant and filters out the rest. So if you firmly believe in your possibilities, your mind begins to perceive exactly the clues, opportunities, and people that confirm this image.

If you want to learn how to use these mechanisms deliberately for yourself, you can dive deeper into this exciting interplay of perception, belief, and reality in my coaching sessions or with the Manifesting and Mindfulness Workbook by Joy Corporate.

That is why mindfulness is so important: Become aware of your thoughts, your inner words, your emotions. Change your inner dialogue and you change your life.

Myths and misunderstandings

Manifesting is only for “spiritual” people

No. Entrepreneurs, athletes, artists also use visualization, focus, intention, and mindset. Even in business and medicine, mindfulness and awareness are gaining importance.

You just have to think positively

Wrong. You are allowed to feel all emotions – including anger, sadness, or fear. The only important thing is that you don't get lost in them. Change begins with acceptance.

There is a perfect method

Also wrong. There are many ways: vision boards, journaling, full moon rituals, meditations, prayers, affirmations. Find the form that suits you. It is a personal art – not a rigid rule.

Inspiration: Who manifests what?

  • Pippi Langstrumpf: “I make the world the way I like it.” – childlike-naive, but deeply wise.

  • Laura Malina Seiler: One of the most well-known German voices for manifestation, self-love, and inner strength.

  • Ann Kristin Tlusty: Author & coach for manifestation and self-realization.

  • Olivia Röllin: Brings spirituality into the modern view – mindful, reflective, and down-to-earth.

Example: My first own manifestation experiences

I remember well: It wasn't a big car, not a windfall – but security. I wanted to feel emotionally supported. After weeks of intense reflection, daily meditation, and gratitude practice, it happened: I met a person who gave me exactly that feeling. Without me having "searched" for them. But I was ready to receive them.

For example, I specifically wished to achieve a turnover of half a million in one of my first years with my startup, and that exact amount was reached that year. Before that, I had wished to live in Switzerland once. On a trip to Italy, I drove through Switzerland and felt deep inside me: This is where I want to live. Just seven months later, I actually moved to Switzerland with my whole family. And there were many other wishes that came true just as I had imagined.

But it didn't just happen because I only thought about it or meditated on it. It happened because I learned to see opportunities, to take them, and because I worked extremely hard, on myself and professionally, in all areas of my life. Manifestation for me does not mean waiting, but conscious action with clear vision, inner alignment, and consistent implementation.

Since then I know: Manifesting works. Not magically, but powerfully.

Manifesting in everyday life – this way it remains part of your life

  • Incorporate small rituals daily

  • Talk to others about it – that strengthens connection

  • Read a good book or listen to podcasts

  • Be grateful – gratitude is the turbo for manifestation

  • Visualize your goal every morning – even 2 minutes help

  • Always carry your vision with you – on paper or in your heart

Conclusion

Manifesting is not hocus-pocus, but conscious life design – similar to yoga for the mind. It starts with you: with your thoughts, your energy, your intention. The moment you become clear inside, you begin to become visible – to yourself, to life, and to the opportunities around you.

It's not about forcing something, but about finding balance – with your body, your heart, and your actions. Just like in a mindful yoga practice, you may grow, let go, and trust step by step.

Maybe you'd also like to accompany your journey in writing – through journaling, personal reflection, or a creative editing of your thoughts. Because every word you consciously choose shapes your reality.

Trust this: You are the creator of your reality. Maybe not overnight. But with patience, love, presence – and the courage to realign yourself again and again.

Because as the saying goes?

"Everything you can imagine is already part of your reality."
